The pedagogy has two stages. 1 st stage the oppressed unveil the world of oppression and through the praxis commit themselves to its transformation while in the 2 nd stage, the reality of the world has already been transformed, this pedagogy did not only belong to the oppressed but to the entire people in the cause of seeking liberation.

The pedagogy itself has two stages: in the first stage the oppressed "unveil" the world of oppression and commit themselves to its change. In the second stage, the oppressed begin the process of "permanent liberation." In other words, in the first stage, the pedagogy helps the oppressed change their perception of the world. Although oppression dehumanizes both parties and stifles their humanity, the oppressed has to lead the struggle for a fuller humanity for both. The oppressor, who is himself dehumanized because he dehumanizes others, tries to hang onto his power and dehumanizing practices. and “most complete work, Pedagogy of the Oppressed , is the first of his writings to be published in the United States.
